Look Out for these Pickpockets and Criminals - at Svay Rieng Water Festival 2022



Cambodia News, (Svay Rieng): The Svay Rieng Water Festival celebrations are due to be held in the province at the end of October, therefore the Svay Rieng Provincial Police would like to inform the people throughout Svay Rieng Province about some criminals who should be reported to the authorities. These photos of criminals who have committed crimes are published for the protection, security, safety and order for all national and international guests attending the Water Festival in Svay Rieng on October 29 and 30, 2022.

Svay Rieng Provincial Police would like to request all citizens to cooperate with the authorities and report immediately if there is a theft, so they can take swift action against those who may come to the festival to steal your bags, pockets, and necklaces.If you meet a person that looks like one of these photos, then take care of your valuables, and contact the nearest police.

If you see any of these shifty characters during the Water Festival activities, please alert the authorities immediately ... and if some of the photos below look exactly the same as the photos before, but don't be fooled. Criminals all look alike.

The cancellation of the three-day festival from November 7-9 was announced by the government on Friday and the traditional celebration in front of the Royal Palace will also not be held, however, festivities in the provinces can go on as normal.
