According to the source from the people, at midnight on October 12, 2022, the victim was walking along the waterfront, when a crocodile weighing 40 kilograms jumped out of the canal and bit his leg. The victim was slightly injured, but mostly shocked and surprized to see the crocodile because there are not usually crocodiles in that canal.

So the farmer called out to all the village to help him capture the crocodile and they took it home. It was decided that for the protection of the village, the animal should be cooked and eaten by all the villagers so that nobody else could get attacked in the future*.

"Foolhardy"? I haven't heard that term since the early 60s.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Remember the floods in siem reap, 2010 or 2011? 7 weeks of flood water almost knee deep from the ring road out to the surrounding villages. 1 Croc about 5ft long was captured, killed and strapped to the back of a daelim. Its a wonder there weren't more crocs lurking with all the flooded Croc farms around the outskirts of town.
