Man Drowns While Herding Buffalos
Cambodia News (Pursat): On Sunday, 7 October 2022, the Ministry of Interior's webpage reported the death of a man who was found to have drowned in a stream while herding buffalos, at 8:40am behind a house in Srah Run village, Otapong commune, Bakan district, Pursat province.
According to the report of the Bakan District Police Inspectorate, the victim was 48 years old Man Phoeuk, who was from the above village. No noticeable marks were found on the body during the post mortem examination, and according to the wife of the neighbour of the village chief of Srah Run, she saw that the man was herding the buffalos across the stream, when it became too deep for him; he could not swim, so he drowned.
The authorities have recorded the incident and handed over the body to the family for the funeral ceremony.
RIP
