Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On 1 October 2022, a Chinese man driving a NAVARA car at high speed crashed into the middle of a LexusGS300 car causing to flip over in an accident, which occurred at 2:30am, on Neak Bridge, along Preah Norodom Street, corner of Street 106, Wat Phnom, Daun Penh, Phnom Penh. Serious damage was done to both vehicles. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Sources from the scene said that a foreigner was seen driving a white LexusGS300, (Phnom Penh 2BM-9417), along Norodom Road, and when he reached the intersection with Street 106, a blue NAVARA car, (Phnom Penh 2AT-2353), which was driven by a Chinese man at high speed, crashed into the LexusGS300 in the middle of the left side door. This caused the Navara to flip over and sustain severe frontal damage.


However, more than two hours after the accident, no representatives of the local police had arrived at the scene, so the local residents and journalists that were present facilitated the negotiation between both parties to the accident. The owner of the NAVARA agreed to pay for the repairs of the Lexus GS300.
The police never turned up, so everyone went home to bed.
