Lt Col Puthyla said the accused was charged with “murder” under Article 199 of the Criminal Code and faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
He added that the accused was arrested on Sunday by Thai police in Chanthaburi province’s Pong Nam Ron district who handed him over to the Battambang provincial police on Sunday.
