How to meet people?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Middle-aged?! Who lives to 120?!

Been there, done that. Made loads of friends, most of them flakes, a few are genuine. The locals are ok but can't hold their grog. Their choice of music is appalling. Backpackers are fun if you're still 20's. Rozz, I've never met her but she seems to have a finger on the pulse, good place to start. Me, I avoid folks these days. Good luck!

There's more to Riverside than girly bars and "middle aged folks". There are alternatives, generally cheaper than their BKK1 equivalents.

That's where the apartment I'm moving into is. It's supposed to be close to my new job as well. Do you have any recommendations for bars or restaurants there?

Explore. Try them all. You have a new world waiting - don’t narrow it down when you have time on your side to explore for yourself.
