Re: Those Living Cheaply Under a Grand
we don't pick and choose, as i stated above. we set it in the system and it's automated... because we can't read every post in a timely manor to pick them out and edit them before they're preserved by his tech team.
personally I don't care WHAT we call him, so long as it's not his name. change it from his name to anything you like and our filters will ignore it.
I'm open to suggestion on the alternative in the filter, I'd just rather it not be a dead copycat of 440.
I don't think he would even know he's being called HE simply because by changing it we avoid his search filters which single sites out for review. not sure if you've followed the news but a nice new draconian internet law is being put into place quite rapidly that could quite likely expose us even further.

Of course I read the news and again nothing I wrote exposed you to legal danger even under the new laws. As for suggestions it's your forum, you fix it.
I am leaving this post intact so that everyone will know what is causing joke for a poke's pucker factor.

Re: Those Living Cheaply Under a Grand
If you don't want to use 'HE', and I can understand why, why not just refer to him as (the) PM, that's exactly what he is, no more, no less.

Lighten up dude, sheesh!taabarang wrote:Of course I read the news and again nothing I wrote exposed you to legal danger even under the new laws. As for suggestions it's your forum, you fix it. And tell us for future use what "fun" name you have chosen.
Re: Those Living Cheaply Under a Grand
I'm with taabarang on this "HE" is extremely rude and insulting , although i do understand the consequences of libel and defamation. Need a less insulting nickname for the power that rules the kingdom, "God" "Boss""Don" ?

Saw your TV series on Discovery recently, glad you made it out of that minefield rice paddy and back into the mine-free jungle. JK, sounds like a good yarn.phuketrichard wrote:great old stories.
MY first foray into Cambodia was in 1987 and entailed walking across the border near my home in Bo Rai for 2 days with Khmer rouge escorts to the gem mines south of Pailin.
WE would stay for 4-5 days and than walk back out.
KR took 50% of our finds but we still made a shit load of $$$$

I have been informed that for future use HE is now the acceptable term.
