Cambodia News Phnom Penh: On 9 September 2022, two suspects attempted to steal a motorcycle in front of Nice Burger along Street 253, Sangkat Toek Laak I, Khan Toul Kork, Phnom Penh and then fired a gun at a man who chased them.

The victim of the theft was an employee of the NHAM 24 food delivery company, who parked his black Dreamsong motorbike in front of the shop and walked inside to get the food order. Suddenly two people riding a white McClellan motorcycle appeared by the victim's motorcycle, and one of the suspects attempted to steal the victim's motorcycle.
However, the suspect did not succeed and the victim upon seeing what was going on, came out shouting at the thieves, which made the suspect panic and leave the scene in a hurry on the motorbike of his accomplice.

At that time, a man who was an employee of EGets food delivery company chased after the suspects, while shouting at them until he reached Santhor Mok High School along Street 253 at the corner of Street 132 in Sangkat Toek Laok I, Khan Toul Kork. Then suddenly, one of the suspects fired a gun at the man chasing after them, which made him stop. The suspects then sped up and fled the scene.

Police came down to pick up the bullet shell left by the suspect at the scene, and also took evidence from the eye-witness who chased the suspects in order to facilitate the police search.
