Cambodia News (Pursat): On 6 September 2022, the Ministry of Interior's education dissemination page reported that a traffic accident happened on Sunday 4 September 2022, in which a motorbike driver transporting 4 pieces of wood, 20x20 dimensions each, died when he was crushed by his load. The incident happened on the rubber road at O Touk Point in Ponnak Village, Chheu Tom Commune, Krakor District, Pursat Province.

According to the Krakor District Police Inspectorate, the victim was Him Kob, a 31-year-old Cham man, residing in Dangkiep Kdam Village, Chheu Tom Commune, Krakor District, Pursat Province, driving a black McVeigh Alpha motorcycle without a license plate.

According to 22-year-old Mr. Op El who was with the victim, the victim was driving a motorbike transporting timber from the upper part of the hill with four other motorbikes. Then his front wheel broke, and the timber on the motorbike slipped and fell onto his body. Seeing that the man was not moving, Mr El called his family and told them that Mr. Him Kop died from falling off a motorcycle.
