Fire Breaks Out in Russey Keo Market Stalls, Phnom Penh

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On 6 September 2022 the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department reported a case of a fire in the Tuol Sangke market stalls in Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh, at 11:30 pm on Monday, 5 September 2022.

The owner of the stalls damaged by the fire was identified as a 50 year old seller, Ms. Sok Ry. Nine stalls and some equipment were burnt as a result of the fire, but fortunately, no one was injured in the blaze.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police used 12 fire trucks and 6 other vehicles, and the equivalent to 28 cubic meters of water in order to extinguish the fire.
