Zhang Fung, 26Yo Chinese Man, Arrested with 7Kgs of MDMA

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On August 22, 2022, at 5:30 pm Zhang Fung, a 26-year-old Chinese man was arrested and accused of trafficking 7kgs of drugs. According to the authorities, two locations were targeted in the police raid.

The first location was at L Condo in Sangkat Boeung Tompun 2, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh. The second location was in Paoli Condo, room #1618 fl. 16, St. 139, Sangkat Veal Vong, Khan 7 Makara, Phnom Penh.

Police detained the suspect, Chinese national Zhang Fung, and seized 7.54kg of Ecstacy (MDMA), and a further 10.76kg of chemical materials. The suspect and the evidence were held in custody for further proceedings.

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A Chinese suspect and more than 7 kilograms of drugs were sent to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court by the Anti-Drug Department on September 2, 2022 .

On August 22, 2022 at 17:30, the Special Forces (A10) of the Anti-Drug Department, with the participation of the specialized force of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police and with the coordination of Mr. Oum Sopheak, Deputy Prosecutor of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court, investigated and cracked down on condominium L in Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh, and also Paolo Condo on St 139 in Phnom Penh.

The officers detained one suspect named Zhang Fong, male, 26 years old, Chinese national, and our competent authorities have now built a case to send the accused to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court on charges of drug trafficking and manufacture.
