Cat Bite

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Cat Bite

Post by rozzieoz »

I got bitten by a cat in a bar last night - my own stupid fault for trying to make friends.

I got saline to clean it and doused with Bernadine straight away. I got pain killers and antibiotics from my trusted chemist. (The 24 hour pharmacy on 110 near Larry’s).

The skin was broken in two spots, so I went to Pasteur this morning, to be on the safe side.

I got a tetanus injection as well as the first of three rabies shots.
Grand total for the 4 shots - $18.

I’ll go back soon for the second rabies shot.

They are so efficient- I was in and out within 15 minutes.

Just thought I’d share in case anyone needs the info for future reference.

I saw the name of this thread and thought it was about a new bar in town.

Hey, Rozzie, leave those cats alone!
