It depends on the airline. I flew on Thai Airways from Heathrow a few days ago and they checked vaccination certificates briefly, and they were checked again flying out of Bangkok.

Pre-COVID I timed myself from leaving the plane to being picked up outside Phnom Penh airport - ten minutes. The other day I checked again and it took eight. I didn't have to pick up hold baggage because it had gone missing but that never takes long anyway ( It turned up the next day).

Pre-Covid getting out in SR could take a really long time. I usually flew in early afternoon, early evening, just as a few charter planes with Chinese and Korean tourists arrived. Even with visa in hand it could take an hour or more getting out.

Was off the plane and sitting in a tuk tuk from the main road, with half a dozen cold beers from the airport minimart, within 10 minutes last Thursday night, i dont fuck around....took me another several hours to get home though after deciding to stop off at a bar to say hi to a mate (whoops).
