Cambodia News, (Battambang Province): According to the information from Battambang Province Administration, on Wednesday night, August 3, 2020, city authorities started to prepare for Battambang's status as a heritage site and a clean ASEAN city, by removing vagrants from the streets.
According to the plan of the Battambang administration and under the guidance of Mr. Sok Lu, the governor of Battambang province, Mr. Pheng Sithy, the mayor, and the police authority have gathered people with insufficient or crazy minds, crackheads, drug addicts, glue addicts, homeless people who sleep in the garden, and have taken them to Prenana Education Center this morning, August 4, to have their cases processed.
Mr. Pheng Sithy continued that today the authorities have collected a total of 150 people from the streets in the Battambang conservation area, to take them firstly to Battambang police station for the doctors to check the COVID-19 virus. Then those who are found with drugs should be taken to a rehabilitation center or a drug center: either the National Rehabilitation Center (Keo Pos) at Phum Rithy, Keo Pos Commune, Steung Hav District, Sihanouk Province or to the center of the Ministry of Social Affairs. In addition, those with mental health problems should be taken to medical centers in central province, while the homeless will find a new place to live or be transferred to a centre with vocational training or other skills to provide their livelihood.
The Battambang Provincial Administration is working to make the city more beautiful, attracting national and international tourists, as well as preparing to compete with the clean ASEAN city.

The vocational training centers here are pretty much slave labor camps

Keeping the addicts busy is the way to deal with them, when planning to make them quit drugs.
Crazies, everything seems to miss,
Lazies, well, one should be allowed to be lazy, it's not always such a motivating world...whatever
I wonder up to which amount the said categories goes, when it comes to barangs, and also for Chineses
