Man Collapsed and Died in Phnom Penh from Herbal Alcohol
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): At 1:30 pm on August 10, 2022, on Mao Tse Tung Blvd., Dom Kor market, Khan Toul Kork, Phnom Penh, a 37-year-old man, Chhan Monny, was found dead in a commercial tricycle, after he drank a bottle of herbal alcohol on empty stomach.
The victim, who worked as a security guard in Phnom Penh, was living with his sister in Kien Svay district, Kandal province, but the family were originally from Prey Veng province.
According to a witness at the scene, the deceased was seen drinking over a liter of herbal alcohol without eating any food until he vomited blood and collapsed.
The passersby were shocked and called the police for help, but it was too late to save the man. The police examined the body and then gave it to the family without providing any further information as to the cause of his death.

Re: Man Collapsed and Died in Phnom Penh from Herbal Alcohol
I would suggest that the "Herbs" had nothing to do with his death. One litre of spirit strength alcohol would be a challenge for even the hardest drinker, with or without a full stomach. Darwinism at work.
