Here in patts there's shops everywhere, even guys coming around the bars with brief cases instead of selling Viagra thier selling rolled up joints, I thought they were cigars at first.

I know plenty of people who had mental breakdowns and psychosis through weed. Copious use of strong weed can definitely do that to sensitive people. Education can help though. Smoking it every waking minute as many I know do is surely not healthy.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 9:06 am this had to happen:

BUT no big deal, see a DR, "i have back pains an insomnia "

....Evidence shows that the regular consumption of more potent cannabis triggers psychosis and addiction
There is increasing and more credible evidence from international studies showing a pronounced link between cannabis with potent levels of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and mental health issues.
nobody i know over the past 55 years has gotten addicted or had a mental breakdown from smoking pot

Wasn't the psychosis line pushed by big pharma, then when they had made there own products they retracted that line? Also, why are there no higher levels of psychosis in countries where weed is smoked as a norm? It could be that those that experienced psychosis would have done without weed too.WillieW wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 6:44 pmI know plenty of people who had mental breakdowns and psychosis through weed. People just need educated. You wouldn't give someone who has never drunk alcohol before a bottle of 40% whisky to start them off.

its the eatables that cause more problems than smoking.
High concentrated THC, effects take longer ( 30+ minutes) so people take that 2nd brownie, gummy bear, cookie thinking its not working
"Copious use of strong weed"
I have never met anyone that smokes Copious amounts of weed>
you smoke to get high, once ur high u cease smoking, unlike drinkers who drink till they pass out

‘Very good for tourists’: Thailand aims for high season with U-turn on cannabis
The once-banned drug is now on sale at market stalls, beach clubs and even hotel receptions. But the laws in this ‘pot paradise’ are blurry

Adistinctive sweet smell wafts through Fisherman’s Village night market on the Thai island of Koh Samui, drifting up between the sticky mango rice stalls and bucket cocktail vans. The Samui Grower cannabis stall is doing swift business tonight. A table is laid with glass jars, each displaying a different flowering green bud, with labels saying things like ‘‘Road Dawg’ hybrid THC25% 850TBH/gram”.
Elsewhere on the island, at Chi beach club, tourists lie on couches puffing ready-rolled joints and munching pizzas topped with green cannabis leaves. On Instagram, the Green Shop Samui offers a marijuana menu of fantastically named buds: Truffle Cream, Banana Kush and Sour Diesel, alongside hemp cookies and cannabis herbal soap.

I like a joint, relax, watch a movie or listen to some music, but I know a lot of pot heads who are on the hose, bonging to maintain a high. I was like that myself & knew I had a problem! I had to go to Cambodia to give up & It was no bother at all. As soon as I got home in Oz & walked in my front door it was the first thing I thought about (environment) & had to battle it again, I lasted another 6 months & started casually smoking. I'm now a tea toddler compared to then though I have just rolled a joint & are now smoking it as I finish this se#tenc@eWillieW wrote: ↑Fri Aug 12, 2022 3:54 pmYou have obvious;ly never been around stoners.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Fri Aug 12, 2022 7:36 am
