The total — $49.3 million — is less than the $150 million sought by Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis, whose 6-year-old son Jesse Lewis was among the 20 children and six educators killed in the deadliest classroom shooting in U.S. history. But the trial marks the first time Jones has been held financially liable for peddling lies about the 2012 attack in Newtown, Connecticut.

What establishment? He caused a living hell for these families by getting his “followers” to harass and intimidate them over the years. Freedom of speech has its limits, and this POS crossed those limits and should be held accountable.

How is it that one or two of twenty victims' parents decide to sue?
How is it that they accuse him of PROFITING off the issue as if it was singular on his show and ask for tens of millions themselves?
What law did he actually break?

LOL.This has nothing to do with left or right, it has to do with spreading a lie, a conspiracy theory if you will, in order to make millions of dollars at other peoples suffering and expense.
And I’m not a leftie genius, but these far-right conspiracy theorists and their simple minded followers disgust me, they are not Republicans, they are cult worshipper’s.

Use your imagination. -And who told you he was a bad man? Who told you that? So lawsuit number two wins "for suffering", then what, all the victims' parents follow the domino game and cash in, and that's called Justice? Grind him and the first amendment down?
Politicians lie and cause suffering allll the time, if only Joe average could make 50 million off them. Consumer sales is based off lying, to make a profit..
