Two Arrested for Village Brick Attack

Cambodia News, Kandal: On 2 August 2022, the police force of Kandal Stung district arrested two suspects for throwing a brick at a villager, causing him to fall from his motorbike on to the road at Chambok village, Kandal Steung district, Kandal province.
According to the Kandal Stung District Police, the victim was a 55 years old farmer Phan Sopheak, who was a voluntary watchman standing guard at the concrete road in the village.
The two suspects, 30 years old Hour Toma, and 18 years old Phal Metta, threw a piece of paving brick on the victim's right forehead, causing the victim to faint and hit his head on the national road. The suspects then escaped, and the victim of the attack was taken to hospital.

Currently, the two suspects have been captured by police and sent to the Kandal Stung District Police Inspectorate for the legal procedures.
