Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): The body of a man was found floating in the Tonle Sap River by unidentified people at 7:40 am on July 30, 2022, at the Tonle Sap bank in Doeum Kor village, Sangkat Prek Ta Sek, Khan Chroy Changva Phnom Penh.

According to a source from the people living along the river, that morning, there was a bad smell and they looked at the water near the bank and found the body of a man who was swollen, rotten, and had intestinal perforation.
They reported this to the police station for inspection and the body was dragged to the riverbank by the police in a Cham fishing boat on the river near Prek Ta Kong pagoda where it was dragged ashore for professional inspection.

The unidentified body died about four to five days ago. After an autopsy, the police said that the man died from drowning.

The above man was kept at Wat Prek Ta Kong, waiting for his relatives to come and perform the traditional ceremony, but if his relatives do not claim him, he will be cremated today due to the advanced decay of the body.
