Japan Donates 15 Garbage Trucks to Cambodia
Re: Japan Donates 15 Garbage Trucks to Cambodia
The donation is aimed to improve the collection of solid waste and the transport to solid waste treatment facilities.
Translation: "Get your shit together."
I can't help feeling it is a bit pathetic for Cambodia to be accepting something as basic as garbage trucks when the CPP spends $40 million on fancy new party headquarters.
They are also very small for garbage trucks.
This is not the first time that Japan has been giving away these things, they gave another 10 in December 2021. Maybe they are trying to tell us something!

So, I wonder what prompted this...Did a Japanese official visit and say, "They need more waste removal capabilities?"

Yes Singapore. Sterile and soulless. I would take the PP of 20 years ago (garbage and all) over Singapore any day. I suspect many would agree.
