A translation is either accurate or not, it shouldn't expire ever.
No, the original stained Sangkat document is valid for three months. Sometimes they forget to note it though. If they did, the validity will show up in the translation as well. So better check before spending on the translation.
If I can get bank statements I can avoid all this translation and expiry issues. I would much prefer not to go near the Sangkat and deal with all that song and dance.

Yes, avoiding those places is generally a wise idea.

Very wise. If ever I do have to go there, I take my gf/wife, a warm demeanour and a willingness to lose $20 without feeling rancour.
