Armed Ambushing Motorbike Thieves Arrested in Kratie

Cambodia News (Kratie): On 30 June 2022, two of three suspects involved in a case of aggravated intentional violence with a machete were arrested by the Snuol District Criminal Police. The arrests were led by Colonel Chan Sok Kim, District Police Inspector.
The two suspects arrested were 18 years old Thorn Sok Heang and 20 years old Chhorn Many. They both live in Snuol Commune, Snuol District, Kratie Province. The two menwere arrested on 30 June after having escaped for a while.

According to the confessions of the two suspects, on the night of 25 June, the three suspects came to ambush and beat the victim so they could steal his motorbike. They were armed with two machetes which were used to stab an unidentified victim.
After the action, the three attackers escaped, but two were later arrested by the police.

Too much of this goes on, these guys need to do hard prison time.

Times are hard = crime is up.
And highway robbery is already practised on a grand scale by the Cambodian elite.

Looks like these two don't belong to that Cambodian elite.
