Train time's

Do you have a Cambodian trip report you want to share? Post it here, and feel free to link to your blog if it's a travel blog for Cambodia, South East Asia, or anywhere really. You can ask and answer questions about travel advice in Cambodia or just share your pictures and videos with us. Most people who live in or visit Cambodia have also checked out nearby countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, and you can get to most of these countries by traveling overland, so put any travel plans, reviews or questions here. Discussions about dirt bike trails in here as well.

Train time's

Post by AndyKK »

I had a ride out to the booking office of Royal Railway's the other day, my purpose was mainly to see if they are accepting motorcycles on the trains once more. But the answer was not at this stage.

Here's the time table of trains if it helps anyone -

I called at the train station today to book a ticket, still no Motos allowed on the journeys, while I was there, this may be interesting to one or two.

$10 from PP to SNK, no stress, no risk of death or serious injury, no driver picking his nose the whole journey, and no random stopping while he moonlights as a parcel delivery service.

What a bargain. What a pity I don't want to go to Sihanoukville.

It has been known for trains to have collisions here, and their drivers to run.

Yeah, usually collisions with taxi drivers racing to SNK to drop off passengers and collect more victims.

There’s two? Steam locomotives now. Collisions have been known with other objects and head on with other trains. But that a side I would think safer than travelling by road.

I understand that they are not in service, I was just saying that there's two of them now. It would be hell of a tourism puller though if they put one in service.

Boost Cambodia’s tourist numbers- Advertise it on a British kettle spotter site. They’d flock here in droves.
