Re: Retail Fuel Prices Rising
Don't seem to be a large increase when you talk about a price increase of only 200 riels per litre.
But this will undoubtedly rise transport cost's, LPG price too, the results will be followed by the cost of living going up.

Re: Retail Fuel Prices Rising
I pass a gasoline station on my way to work that is located at a traffic light junction and I have been noticing a steady rise recently.
6 or 7 months ago it was 4,000R a litre. Now it’s 6,400R
Ouch!

Re: Retail Fuel Prices Rising
Ouch! Indeed. So, transport costs undoubtedly rise, example I took a quick bus trip recently from Phnom Penh to Kampong Cham, the cost before was $2.50, now it's $4.00 for the one-way journey.
Transportation costs will automatically rise with the fuel costs, that means the transportation of goods and public services. So, in effect, products will go up in price, such has food items. Also, the rise in cost of LPG, will top that off, the restaurant prices will follow.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
