Then what are you going to do when they make contraceptives illegal? That’s next on the hit list.

Re: Will Roe vs Wade be overturned?
It sounds like it's only some contraceptives (the ones that are more like abortions than preventative measures), so I don't think it's as dire as you're thinking.

Really? The 1965 law had to do with married couples and the 1972 had to do with single people, both of which they want to overturn, had to do with all contraceptives, with condoms being the specific issue in the 1972 case for unmarried individuals.General Mackevili wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 6:53 amIt sounds like it's only some contraceptives (the ones that are more like abortions than preventative measures), so I don't think it's as dire as you're thinking.

They want to make condoms illegal?
What next? Make attendance at church on Sunday compulsory?

They want to make all contraceptives illegal, they want to repeal the two (2) laws that first allowed married couples to have access to contraceptives and then seven (7) years later allowed unmarried people have access to condoms.Username Taken wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 7:44 am They want to make condoms illegal?

And yes, church attendance will become mandatory in order to weed out all the heathens. Goodbye Sunday afternoon football.

Re: Will Roe vs Wade be overturned?
Contraception (assuming it's even still an option this time next year) is all well and good until the day it fails, or the girl is raped, or someone makes a mistake and uses it incorrectly. Assuming contraception is ever going to be a rock-solid solution is right up there with saying people shouldn't have sex until their wedding night - ridiculous and never going to happen. And then there are the various medical reasons people get abortions which have nothing to do with contraception.
So there are going to be probably thousands of women in a position where they're forced to have a baby they can't look after, or will require medical treatment they can't afford, maybe even die as a result of the pregnancy and that's when the same people who forced them to have the baby tell them to fuck off and not expect any help from them. And that's why I'm going to go ahead and call those people a pack of c**ts.
I think that religious fundamentalists, from any religion, need to stop pushing their beliefs on others and stay out of other people's lives.
