Thai Woman Stabbed in Paliin Province

Cambodia News (Pailin Province): On 22 June 2022 at 21:30, Mr. Meak Saran, Police Inspectorate of Sala Krao District reported a case of intentional violence with aggravating circumstances committed by a Thai man against a Thai women.

The angry Thai man stabbed the woman with a knife. She suffered from serious injuries so much so that she died before even being taken to the referral hospital. The district inspector said that this case occurred in Room 204 of the Mukch Pich Hotel, in Phsar Prom Cheung Village, Pailin Province.

The suspect arrested was a 30-year-old Thai man named Kapanyatha Tammaseng, while the the victim was a 30-year-old Thai woman named Ching Mey who was staying at Room 204 of the Mukch Pich Hotel.
The woman was apparently attacked because she had cursed the Thai man's father. The Thai man reacted violently in retaliation, and took a sharp knife and stabbed the victim several times causing her to sustain serious injuries.

She later died from the stabbing before she was able to be taken to Pailin Provincial Referral Hospital.
The district police confiscated the sharp knife and are dealing with investigations according to legal procedures.

RIP for the young lady, hope the Thai man suffers with a long prison sentence.
