Cambodia News, (Preah Sihanouk Province): According to Major General Chuon Narin, Preah Sihanouk Provincial Police Commissioner, this morning, Friday, June 17, 2022, Sihanoukville police have arrested three Chinese nationals with a Zoraki pistol in Preah Sihanouk province, following an incident where one person, also a Chinese national, was injured by a firearm.

According to the news source, a Chinese man came to file a complaint with Sihanoukville police on June 12, 2022 at 14:00, that a group of more than 10 Chinese people in 4 to 5 cars, including two white MERCERDES BENZ with three people and one golden TUNDRA, were parked in front of his friend's company, located in Village 6, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, intending to kidnap his friend, Yu Liang. The other two or three cars stopped outside on the road.

Immediately after receiving the information, Major General Chuon Narin, Sihanoukville Provincial Police Commissioner, sent a criminal police task force to the scene where they arrested three suspects in a MERCEDES BENZ, and one man in a TUNDRA car, escaped and left the car at the scene, while the two or three other suspect vehicles on the road outside drove away from the scene. Police towed the two remaining cars to be temporarily stored at the Sihanoukville Provincial Police Station.

The victim of the attempted kidnapping is Yu Liang, male, 33 years old, Chinese national, occupation: businessman, living in Village 6, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville Province. He received one gunshot wound during the attack, but, according to the report, his days are not in danger.

This case occurred because two Chinese businessmen, the victim and the main suspect, cooperated in a business plan from February 2022 to June 2022, where they lost $ 1,200,000 (one million, two hundred thousand US dollars). The suspect blamed the victim for the lost money and planned to kidnap him and get his money back.

On June 14, 2022 at 16:00, the police formed a search committee with the participation of Mr. Penh Piseth, Deputy Prosecutor of the Sihanoukville Provincial Prosecutor's Office, and as a result of the search they found 1 original short, ZORAKI MOD914-TD AUTO R3DTSC1-2100172 with eight bullets.


Four suspects have been identified: Three arrests and one escape.
1. Name: Jin KaiBin, alias Lin Yi or Xiao Bin, Male, 25 years old, Nationality: Chinese, Holding passport: security guard: Residence: Village 4, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville Province.
2-Name: Wang Ying, alias Aeron, Male, 28 years old, Nationality: Chinese, Holding a passport: security: Residence: Village 4, Sangkat 4, Preah Sihanouk Province.
3-Name: Yang QianJun, alias Ta Jing, Male, 36 years old, Nationality Chinese,security guard , Residence: Village 4, Sangkat 4, Preah Sihanouk Province.

4-Min SiSong alias Xiao Song, male Chinese, 27 years old, driving the Tundra - escaped, along with the occupants of the vehicles parked outside.

Captured exhibits include:
5 mobile phones, 1 white Iphone X, 1 blue Iphone12 Pro Max, 1 gray Iphone13 Pro Max, 1 blue OPPO and 1 pink Sansung Fold2.
- 1 card and 1 house key.
One white MERCEDES BENZ with license plate Phnom Penh 2AT-7333.
One gold TUNRDA car with license plate Phnom Penh 2AJ-2050.
1 original pistol brand ZORAKI MOD914-TD AUTO R3DTSC1-2100172, 1 payload, 8 bullets.
