You sit on the toilet, and notice a new spot on your leg...

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. maybe the one on my forehead was not that deep, sure seemed like it, took about 4 months to completely close up
The pathologic report will tell you how deep it was, unless it was a stage 0, than it's too thin to measure. But even if it was just 0.1 mm deep the surgeon would cut you until the subcutaneous fat, which is pretty deep. If it was one inch in diameter that's quite a large wound which will require quite some recovery time indeed.

I'm no specialist but at first glance it looks like a (large) regular mole to me.

I'm in Perth, Australia, ress. Catherine can be found at the Australian Skin Cancer Clinic, 70 Farrington Rd, Leeming, Perth. Some people take issue with Catherine's abrupt bedside manner, but I find she's an exceptionally thorough no-nonsense physician who answers any questions in a direct fashion imbuing a sense of confidence in her. She's been taking pieces out of me for a while now.

I would spend 25$ extra and visit doc. Marc Dumas from France any day instead if possible.

Most skin cancers are BCCs (basal cell carcinoma) and are rarely invasive. When small, like keratoses, they are easily treated with liquid nitrogen. Aldara cream (imiquimod) is also effective.

Suspected squamous cell carcinomas and melanomas, like larger BCCs, are removed surgically and sent for pathology tests.

If, like me, you have a malignant melanoma you need a wide excision and a sentinel lymph node biopsy. This is followed by annual PET scans.

Unfortunately Cambodian doctors have little experience with skin cancer. I have been under the care of oncologists in Sydney for eleven years and am in remission from stage three.

Australia is the skin cancer capital of the world and is the best place for screening and treatment.

Just had a squamous cell cut off my chest this past December and looks like I've got another one on my arm that I'm going to have to have looked at when I get back home.

Spots, don't tell me about spots! I have been covered with spots, legs arms and back. I was first treated for scabies, but the treatment didn't do anything, I got to thinking it was scurvy. I bit the bullet and had it seen by a doctor! I have some sort of possible food allergy, now I am having 3 days treatment that consists of 3 injections in a morning and 3 in the evening, plus a course of medicine.
