Koh Kong Man Fires a Gun, Hits a Phone, and Starts a Fire
Cambodia News (Koh Kong Province): On June 1, 2022, at 8:30 pm, a 39-year-old man, Yet Rin, working as a boat merchant used his illegal handgun to shoot into Eourn Sam Ol's room in front of a rental house in Cham Yeam village, Koh Kong.
The gunshot landed on the victim's phone causing it to explode and erupt into flames, and the resulting fire burnt his savings of 30k riels and 100$. After causing the damage, the suspect fled the scene.
On June 2, the police tracked down and arrested the suspect at a fishing port in Neag Kok village, Pak Klong commune, Mondol Seima district. The suspect refused to cooperate or answer questions, but then at 4:00 pm on the same day, a hidden K54 handgun (20005095) loaded with 4 bullets was found by police.
The suspect and the evidence were taken to the police station for further investigation.

Crazy story. I used to think a phone could possibly stop a bullet but the battery exploding is a bit of an issue.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Good thing they pixelated his face in pic #1, but not in the pic of his ID card. (maybe the first pic looked like a Japanese vagina)

Listen, here at CEO News, we have stopped asking why some faces or handcuffs or objects are pixelated in Khmer news outlets. They are like that because they are like that, and WTF, are you expecting logic or something ?Username Taken wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 7:14 pm Good thing they pixelated his face in pic #1, but not in the pic of his ID card.
