Pies

Discussions about restaurants, cafes, coffee shops or bars in Cambodia. Feel free to write any reviews you have, whether its the best burger you've had in Phnom Penh or the worse pizza in Kampot, we want to read it! Discussions about Khmer dishes are also in here, or you can leave your own. If you own a restaurant, feel free to let the expat community know about it here so that we can come check it out. Found a favorite cafe or have a place we should avoid? Tell us about it. Asian recipes & questions are always welcome.

Whipped up some rough puff today, remembered why I don't bother anymore, kitchens way too hot! Made some classic Kiwi mince n' cheese pies, was gonna bake 'em in the bbq but was out of charcoal and couldn't be asked going and getting any, so used the oven, not my best effort but the filling was on point and the puff pastry had some nice flaky, buttery layers, all the Khmer family loved 'em and I had to bake more (which I was selfishly saving for myself 😃 ).

Could you please post your selection available?

Until then, I'll order 6 of the above (where do want the charcoal delivered to?).

A good homemade pie could be had from "the rising sun".
But on Tuesday the restaurant is closing down.
