"UT KTV" Catches Fire in Phnom Penh

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A fire broke out at 11:50 a.m. on May 14, 2022, at a karaoke location with the brand name "UT KTV" located west of the traffic light of Ang Taminh pagoda along Street 2004 in Ang Taminh village, Sangkat Choam Chao I, Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh.

According to sources, before the incident, neighbors saw smoke coming from the inside the KTV building, and they reported this to the authorities to call the fire brigade to intervene to avoid the fire spreading to neighboring houses.

There was some material damage, but the fire was contained and nobody was injured. The cause of the fire was suspected to be an electrical fault.
