Given that Cambodia doesn’t have jury trial, I doubt their court procedures are as complicated as they are in the West, including innocent until proven guilty.

Russian and Ukrainian ??? . I would have thought they would make more money if they were dealing in arms and ammunition .

That's a hot time of the day to be teeing off; should have cleared tomorrow's hearings and got out at 6am.

The rest is plausible.

UPDATE: Three Foreigners Sentenced to 25-30 Years

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On the afternoon of April 25, 2022, the Municipal Court sentenced 2 Russian men to 30 years in prison with a 60 million riels fine, and 1 Ukrainian woman to 25 years in prison with a 40 million riels fine, for the manufacturing and trafficking of 20kgs of illegal drugs from 2017 until September 15, 2020.

The 2 convicted Russians were EVGENY KARAS, a 32-year-old man, and DMITRIY KARAS, a 30-year-old man, and the convicted Ukrainian was a 21-year-old woman named BONDARBNKO KARYNA.

The three were arrested on September 21, 2020, after the police tracked their operation in Sangkat Choam Chao 2, Khan Po Senchey, where they were in the process of manufacturing drugs which were being sent by the company DHL Cambodia to the UK and Greece.

i would think the ukrainian girl is probably from the Lugansk area and in fact etnic-russian but witk UKR-Passport. Anyway, they knever liker eachother, RUS-UKR, since CCCP dropt apart in the 90s . . . It took 30 years before all the world knew . . .
