I stumbled upon a quaint little coffee shop one Sunday afternoon, after shopping at Central Market. Fresh coffee and Lamington to die for. If you are a bit peckish, their sandwiches are fresh daily. But don't spoil your dinner. :shock:

Try these places:
Elephant Bar 92 Rukhak Vithei, Sangkat Wat Phnom Legendary bar in Phnom Penh, try their classic Femme Fatale, the city bike
Sharky's Bar St 130, (4pm- late) big bar with 3 pool tables, live music every night, non-pushy hostesses with a few freelancers
Shanghai Bar St 51/172 corner, I think still open 24 hour, large expat clientele, but upstairs closed at moment (no pool) bar fine possible if you spend enough!
Pontoon, a night club, opposite Shanghai, avoid nearby Heart of Darkness if you want girls, Pontoon is the place for freelancers, Viet 'ladies'
The Golden Sorya Mall also on Street 51 is developing into a 'Pub Street', but still like a ghost town, rough freelancers, if you like danger go there
Oscars on Street 104, and on same street Nana bar (revamped) are recommended, and also Boss bar, there are some beauties and also serious pool players
Wat Phnom... er, how low do you want to go? There are some interesting little places on Street 80 and 82
Walk along the riverside promenade after midnight...

Gary, the Pieman, does bar tours doesn't he? I think the drinks are only a bit more expensive than normal and he takes you to the bars you have probably just come out of.

Not sure if fighting is guaranteed, but it wouldn't hurt to to be handy for when the pub crawl turns into a pub brawl.

He should advertise as "Guaranteed Free For All."

Nice post, but:
Shanghai bar has never in its long hisrory been open 24 hours AFAIK. It opens about 5pm.
Sharkys does not stay open late, the neighbours complain.
Riverside promenade - anytime after dark. It gets a bit dangerous after midnight.

You can hang out with women in any location. Or men in any case.

Just say hello, like you would anywhere else and get a conversation going. Screw the location.

People are people. Everywhere.

If you play your cards right, someone's taking their "sarong" off tonight. ???
