Also another place worth trying is BKB Bakery
House no.115, Monivong Blvd
Top tip re. BKB bakery :good: I must have walked past it so many times on the way to Thai Hout. Any utensils and specialised ingredients for baking and cake making is there. However, they are not big on flour with a limited range, but very cheap.

I sourced wholemeal 'flour' (it's pretty coarse) for a mere $1.70 per KG from Thai Hout and basic unbleached bread flour from BKB Bakery for $1.60 per kg. Thai Hout was $2 for the same brand and Super Duper are $3.

I'll check out Sands when I next go to Makro, it's just a bit far now I have the basic ingredients sourced.
