I only discovered this entertaining and informative Canadian YouTuber a few weeks ago. He and his Canadian GF have spent several years in each of Vietnam, China and Ecuador. But they moved to Cambodia last year, if I've got this right. The entire time as expats, he produced well over 400 video reports. They really love Phnom Penh, by the way.

I've watched it three times in the last 24 hours as it really struck home with me, also a former Toronto resident. Why? Because, over the last 4-5 years I've had yearnings of returning home to live and spend a few winter months back in SEA. I've lived in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. But the expat life started fading for me a few years back. Ryan's assessment is a really timely and fortifying reminder of why I left Toronto -- sub in any western city, if you like, from the US to Oz -- and why I should remain in SEA.
