It's damage limitation, disguised as a truce. They tried some lies to torpedo you, but now they realize you have the upper hand, due to their 10 years of abusing their position to attack people who didn't have a platform to respond. Now they have a platform to respond , these guys can't take it. If they dish it out, they should man up, and take it on the chin. And imho, they would trash this forum if they thought they could close it down. They should apologize for all their snide behaviour over the years.


I thought it funny when one of the mods, acted like a little tell tale grass type, and asked why Scoffer and PB escaped criticism! Don't turn your back on that guy!!!!

They could be right... it's visitors, not posters. Could easily be ppl from there reading the articles/etc. And given how much they bash thai expats, probably plenty of keywords for the search engines... lol.

no, bots get an actual user account in phpbb (it assigns it based on their user agent) so that you can use the built in forum permissions controlls to guide what they do/don't see.

They show up in the user list like this:

And gray colored.

I agree. "Truce" as in we think we won anyway, but we're getting too much heat from our own guys, so we will claim that we're being fair now. hehe

I like that censorship and banning "appear" to have improved for the guys. Nobody needs that threat hanging over them.

Well fair play to you, they have lots more 'bots' but, it appears, less actual users online

I have met Playboy many times and for what my humble opinion matters, he is a very open, honest and genuine guy. He may at times seem a little reserved but this is his calm measured approach to conflict situations, nothing more, nothing less.

So, if a mature progressive way forward has been offered and agreed by both forums, lets give it a go. Remember it is easier to knock something down, than it is to build something.

I, for one, think they are both great forums, although one is very new and the other, respectfully, needs a little reflection (which it seems to be doing a gusto) So why do we not, just all go with the flow and enjoy the ride.
