I smoked some dogshit Opium years ago up by the Golden Triangle. I read later that it's color should have been a tip-off & it was full of impurities. Gave me a 2 day headache. I'd love to try the real stuff.

thai government monopoly within living memory still, so probably went on a lot longer in cambo, and maybe still does.

LOL- me too- but the flesh is far too weak in my senescence.

In the late 1970's in rural indonesia opium was commonly sold as medicine in little pills in rural areas as an anti diarrhea medicine.

Highly effective with quite pleasant side effects.

In PP 6 or 7 years ago, my back was f*cked from f*cking and I went to a random pharmacy looking for Codeine. He was out but he offered me powdered Morphine which he had a big container of. Didn't try it since I was flying to SGN that afternoon.

codeine metabolizes to morphine.

absurd in my opinion to restrict any of it.

some can handle it- some can't.
it is self limiting in terms of a darwinian outcome.
junkies don't breed well.

for responsible adults- the shit is medicine.
