T-Cut scratch remover
Feel as though I've checked everywhere - Anyone know where I can buy some?
I've two problems:
1. Light to medium scratches on the hood (appeared to be from a dog jumping on) I've tried polishing and the standard scratch remover but it doesn't work. The scratches are light enough that I don't feel it by my finger nail which gives me hope.
2. House construction next door caused tiny specks of paint over the entire body (which you can only see very close up)
Hoping T-Cut will do the trick?
Thanks in advance.

Re: T-Cut scratch remover
T-cut is probably too aggressive, and you’d end up with too much variation by hand. You can very easily cut off too much top coat.
There are a few detailing shops around, but I can’t give you any names as I don’t know them. I’ve seen the staff using proper polishers at several of the body repair shops near where I live in Toul Sangkae.
There was a thread a while back about finding some quality polish and wax which may have identified where.

there is several car detailer's and respray shops next to Bayon Market off Monivong (around the corner from Thai Huot) not sure the name of the road but I've walked down there several times and watched then giving cars a make over a few look pretty good should imagine it would not cost a lot for a polish over with a professional machine.

Re: T-Cut scratch remover
First thing to do is wash the car well with soap and water, then leather it off and look again when it is dry. Secondly if there are paint splashes on the surface of the car, use a turpentine substance lightly on the paint specks, or even petroleum, because the paint splashing should not have penetrated the lacquer, has for the scratch from the dog try the same to start.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Were you expecting some sort of bizarre or nefarious goings on? The spectre of shortcrustman?
