Can’t stand in the way of progress. Especially when there’s a 40 tonne Caterpillar in the way.
People of the world, spice up your life.

So sad... Rabbit Island was a great place... I am still baffled how the twits running the show can let this happen... Sayonara...

The planned casino out there should save the day.
Re: Koh Tonsay aka Rabbit Island, Kep
Never a fan myself. I stayed there about 12 years ago after much badgering about how it was so serene & untouched. It was more like being Tom Hanks in Castaway for a night, and a night too many in my book. I went on a trek around the island away from the 2-3 huts you could stay in, found the fishing farm around the corner, etc & it was all quite a mess of fishing nets & plastic garbage everywhere even back then.
It was a "different" experience I can concede; it was nice & quiet at night, cooking dinner on the beach, morning "shower" was actually just a swim in the sea. With the good company I had, it was somewhat enjoyable, but I never went back - definite case of "got the t-shirt" and probably won't ever venture back.
