OK 2 bed apartment near KFC Norodom - $300

Post by armchairlawyer »

Pros - Good location, spacious (about 100m2), nice balcony, aircon in both bedrooms, huge kitchen, safe and clean walk-up, good restaurants around, nice solid late era build, good through ventilation, newish fridge, washing machine and smart TV, good landlady who fixes things quickly (after a bit of moaning) and returns deposits.

Cons - rip-off electric at 0.30 per unit, rip-off $10 monthly rubbish fee, some night noise from Vito Club. 49 step walk-up. Far from any market, near Pencil but so what? Can get a bit of flooding on the first floor landing after a heavy downpour.

Translated (only for the benefit of our real estate agent contributors):
Huge, luxury Riverside apartment with all new fittings. 5 minutes walk from Independence Monument, National Museum, Royal Palace, supermarkets. Free use of static treadmill fitness machine. Open air paddling pool (only in rainy season).
