Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): A Facebook post by Pisey Tang claims that a roadside mechanic, working at the traffic stop in front of Super Duper Mart by the Build Bright University, threw a handful of sharp metal screws on the street when he was passing there. He added that the mechanic cursed him for stopping and picking up most of the tacks from the road.

The poster said that he often drives by there, and he got his tyres punctured on that stretch of street when he stopped by that mechanic. The mechanic then forced him to pay for brand new tyre tubes.

Twice when i filled air near there, not the one in picture, i got a flat tire. First time i went back and let the guy fix it but second time i got suspicious and went to another place to change the tube.

Guess he pushed a needle through the tire while filling it or something. Also charged double then normal for the tube but what else to do then agree when its past Midnight?

If he persistss, after they spoke to him, the authorities will be puntural in nailing him and his flat out lying won't go down well and they'll tire of it and he'll have to deal with the screws inside.

I just keep riding on the flat until it's convenient to get it repaired. Tubes are $2.75 fitted
