What I don't get is, managing a track system like they have in Cambodia with close to no trains on the tracks, is no rocket science. But they still manage to have biweekly accidents.
Driving on Cambodian roads is just like playing a classic arcade top scroller. The only difference is a force feedback controller, the limitation to only one life and the inability to restart, once Game Over

Freight trains never stopped during COVID, only the passenger ones.
You must walk in traffic to cross the road - Cambodian proverb

I'm not referring to Covid, I'm talking about the total lack of any trains around 10 years ago.timmydownawell wrote: ↑Fri Feb 25, 2022 4:52 pmFreight trains never stopped during COVID, only the passenger ones.

Hasn't existed for over 20 years. Now the private sector get the subsidies, then screw it up until they go bust whereupon their routes return to public control (Network Rail). They seem to run more efficiently without having to pay dividends and so they sell them off again.

Haven't they started the passenger routes yet? What are they waiting for?timmydownawell wrote: ↑Fri Feb 25, 2022 4:52 pmFreight trains never stopped during COVID, only the passenger ones.
