Cambodia News (Battambang Province): On February 20, 2022, in Ta Ngaen village, Ta Kream commune, Bannon district, some dried human remains were discovered in a bat cave by the villagers who went there to collect bat feces. According to them, it was the first time that anyone had ever gone right to the bottom of the cave where the remains were found, as it was pitch black and difficult to access. The villagers reported the finding to the police.

According to the autopsy, the remains belonged to a person who died during the Khmer rouge era, but the identity of the victim is unknown. The remains were sent to a pagoda for proper cremation. RIP.
