Scanning for hidden devices/cameras

Post by Bosco »

Shout out to any Techies for help.

A Khmer friend is concerned that their house has been bugged or somehow fitted with a hidden cameras. It's probably paranoia but I am trying to help find some way to check the house and rule out the possibility.

Are there any apps which can help a phone to sweep a room? Or better still any local (PP) companies which offer the service?

Much obliged for any help...

Is a great network tool, I believe that searching for hidden cameras requires a paid upgrade.

If he has good reason to think that, approach pentesting/security companies. They will usually have the equipment needed to do a full sweep. It's much cheaper to hire than buying the gear as a decent detector costs upwards of $5000/piece. However, if he's fine with purchasing the gear himself, look at JmdHkk or Wukama. You can find them online.
