Australia 60 minutes "Meet the Morrisons"
Meet Prime Minister Scott Morrison's 'secret weapon' for re-election
Spoiler:
Re: Australia 60 minutes "Meet the Morrisons"
Scotty has annoyed Kiwi band, Dragon.
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.
Re: Australia 60 minutes "Meet the Morrisons"
Kiwi band Dragon probably don't give a stuff who wins the Australian election. This is easy publicity to slag off Morrison and earn kudos with half of the Australian electorate and maybe sell a few records to boot and generally raise their profile. What % of Australians had heard of them before?
Donald Trump was repeated denied permission to use music at his rallies by numerous artists, all wanting to public proclaim their anti-Trump credentials. Even some dead ones objected too via their estates* (I am not joking). Once a few do it, the rest will just tweet it to get a sliver of publicity.
Is Scott Morrison right wing by any chance?

Plenty knew of them in Australia - they were based there.Doc67 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 14, 2022 3:11 pmKiwi band Dragon probably don't give a stuff who wins the Australian election. While I don’t necessarily agree with your opinion, why shouldn’t they benefit from him using their music? Edit (misread)
It was pretty cheesy of Scotty, and the entire event smacks of desperation

Besides - it was an excellent burn about maybe learning the lyrics if he’d had more time in Hawaii

A lot of assumptions there. You have never heard of them yet claim to know their opinions on politics ? Maybe they do not agree with Morrison so obviously do not want him to use their music, or maybe they do not want their music used as a political tool by anybody. If Biden were to use a Ted Nugent song I am sure Ted would say no, would he be looking for easy publicity ?Doc67 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 14, 2022 3:11 pmKiwi band Dragon probably don't give a stuff who wins the Australian election.
