Posted on January 3, 2015
A Cambodian claiming to be a famous singer in his native country was injured, along with his girlfriend, by a drunk driver outside of a 24 hour convenience store in Central Pattaya early on Friday morning.
The incident occurred at the front of a 7-Eleven Store at the Central Pattaya section of Soi Petrakul and left Mr. Tang Lee aged 22 and his girlfriend with minor injuries which were later treated at Banglamung Hospital. Mr. Lee, told Journalists that he was a famous singer in Cambodia but his Manager was unaware he was in Thailand for a holiday.
The crash was caught on security cameras positioned outside of the store and showed Khun Noppasit aged 34 return to his White Honda City after spending the night at a local Pub. By his own admission he had drunk large amounts of alcoholic beverages.
When he prepared to drive off, he seemed unaware that the vehicle was in reverse, and instead of speeding off in the right direction, he reversed over a motorbike and the two Cambodians.
Police charged the car driver with reckless driving causing injury and drink driving offences.

He looks familiar. Meh, he looks like every Cambodian guy who's crying in the music videos though.
