Cambodia News (Kompong Speu Province): On January 30, 2022, in Ayean village, Paing Lvea commune, Oudong district, Kampong Speu province, 3 young men were caught on video beating up the musicians at a wedding party.
The musician victims posted the video of the fight on Facebook, which alerted the police who went to arrest the 3 fighty suspects. The suspects were three guests at the wedding: Boo Sokea, a 24-year-old man from Cha-Ok village, Phnom Touch commune, Oudong district, Bich Manh, a 25-year-old from Ayean village, Paing Lvea commune, Oudong district, and Hout Kimsreng, a 21-year-old man from the same neighborhood.

The incident started with Hout Kimsreng, who went to request the musicians to play a song for him. However, while he was on stage, the young man started to touch and physically harass the female lead singer, causing the guitar player to intervene, which led to a general fight involving the 3 suspects and the musicians.
One of the band members suffered a head injury in the brawl .The suspects then fled the scene, but they were finally detained by the police and are being held in custody for further proceedings.
