Six Motorbikes Stolen from Locked Parking Lot
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): At 4:00 am on January 31, 2022, six motorbikes were stolen at two rental houses opposite each other in Damnak Troyeung Village, Sangkat Choam Chao II, Khan Por Sen Chey.
The victims were Met Sreykim, a 24-year-old female resident, Rath, a 28-year-old female resident, and four other victims who preferred to stay anonymous.
Before the incident, the victims had parked their vehicles in front of their rooms in the common gated parking lot overnight. At around 4 o'clock in the morning, one of the victims woke up and came out of the room and saw that their vehicles had all disappeared. The gate padlock had been broken.
The bike owners reported the incident to the police at Sangkat Choam Chao 2, who are investigating the breakin.

Makes me wonder... did the stolen moto owners place trust on the security gate being locked and locked their motos via the key only and didn't put any extra security cable locks et al on the wheels etc.. Or did the perps just pick up the motos and load them onto a truck or something.

Not blaming the victims but that lock looks like it was made by a blacksmith in 1982.
