Cambodia news, (Phnom Penh): At 1:30am on January 26, 2022, along Veng Sreng Street, at the corner of Lou Pram Street, in Sangkat Stung Meanchey III, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh, a drunk police officer drove his car into a noodle stand when he tried to turn the corner.

According to sources at the scene, the unidentified male police officer, in a white Camry Hybrid with license plate number 2-3882, intended to turn into Veng Sreng Road, but badly misjudged the corner, and drove into a parked cart that was selling noodles and fried rice, and then hit a parked car before crashing to a halt when the car hit a house.
Bystanders say that the driver was clearly drunk and smelled of beer. Fortunately, nobody was injured, but the contents of the noodle shop were splattered all over the road, and the house and car were damaged.
