The Kampot Spitter - As It Happened

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. The Kampot Spitter - As It Happened

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

This was posted on the Kampot Noticeboard today, along with a comment underneath from an expat, who said that this same guy also spat at him.

Very disgusting indeed. There are many degenerates in Kampot so be careful out there.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Well, look how much room this gentleman in his car left the motorcycle on the other side of the road.

Guess he was in a rush to a fire, or the hospital, unable to wait for the motorcycle and nearly squeezing it between his car and the raised footpath. Those annoying motorcycles should just vanish in the air I am sure he flashed his lights twice before taking up the entire road. :stir:

This is a major problem on lots of streets around downtown Kampot. You can see how close the passenger side of the car is to the bikes parked along the curb on the other side also. If this is a one-way street and the car is going the wrong direction, I can understand the bike rider's frustration. However, the spitter has lived in Kampot for some time and rides there all of the time on several different bikes and should be used to how things work there. Spitting on the wrong persons windshield like that anywhere in the world could get you killed. Might be time for him to return to his home country and chill out awhile.

The road seems wide enough, the car could have just waited in front of the parked motorbikes until the road was clear. Would have taken what? Five seconds?
I forgot for a moment it happened in Kampot, Cambodia, the country where drivers tend to consider other participants in traffic annoying obstacles blocking their God given exclusive right to the road.

I am fully aware of this all, but sometimes when an idiotic action of a car driver endangers me my blood boils too.

What a Grub, Someone should use his face to clean it off.
I can see this ending very badly for him one day when he crosses the wrong person.
